Ingredients:
- Whole chicken- cut into 4 pcs
- Onion cut into slice- 1kg
- Sumac- 1/2cup
- Olive oil- 1-2 cups
- Chili flex- up to taste (optional)
- Salt- to taste
- Ground black pepper- to taste
- Ground cumin- to taste
- Taboon bread- 3pcs
- Nuts- for garnish
Method:
- Mix the onion with sumac powder and olive oil
- Marinate the chicken with black pepper, salt, cumin, and chili flex
- Then add onion sumac mixture
- Mix it well and keep aside for overnight
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan add little onion mix on the top
- Place it for cooking at 180*c for 45 minutes
- Meanwhile heat a pan and add remaining onion with a little olive oil, make it little sauté
- And add chicken broth if needed
- Take out the chicken from the oven.
- Dip the bread and spread olive oil
- Place the bread in a baking try and spread sauté onion mix followed by nuts
- Repeat the same to make layer (three layer of bread)
- Place the chicken on the top
- Cook at 150*c for 20 minutes
- Garnish with nuts and serve hot.
