Chicken with Sweet and Chili
Ingredients:
- Chicken breast (cut into slices)- ½ kg
- Thai sweet hot sauce- 1 ½ cup
- Tomato ketchup- 1tsp
- Chopped garlic and ginger- 1tsp
- White onion- 1 medium size
- Green bell pepper- ½ portion
- Red bell pepper- ½ portion
- Yellow pepper- ½ portion
- Green onion (sliced and chopped)- ½ portion
- Salt- to taste
- White sesame seed (Toasted)- for garnish
For chicken batter
- Egg- ½ portion
- Corn starch-1 tsp
- All-purpose flour- 2tsp
- Ginger garlic paste- 1tsp
- Ground white pepper
- Ground black pepper
Directions:
- Mix all the ingredients for the Batter until well combined. Add the chicken into the batter.
- Heat up a skillet with about two inches of oil. As soon as the oil is fully heated, deep-fry the chicken until golden brown. Transfer the chicken out to a dish
- Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Add the chopped ginger and garlic and stir-fry. Add all the vegetables, follow by the sweet chili sauce, ketchup and chicken. Stir to coat the chicken well with the sweet chili sauce. Finish with spring onion
- Dish out, garnish with the white sesame seed
