Chicken with Sweet and Chili

Chicken with Sweet and Chili


  • Chicken breast (cut into slices)- ½ kg
  • Thai sweet hot sauce- 1 ½ cup
  • Tomato ketchup- 1tsp
  • Chopped garlic and ginger- 1tsp
  • White onion- 1 medium size
  •  Green bell pepper- ½ portion
  • Red bell pepper- ½ portion
  • Yellow pepper- ½ portion
  • Green onion (sliced and chopped)- ½ portion
  • Salt- to taste
  • White sesame seed (Toasted)- for garnish

For chicken batter

  • Egg- ½ portion
  • Corn starch-1 tsp
  • All-purpose flour- 2tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste- 1tsp
  • Ground white pepper
  • Ground black pepper


  1. Mix all the ingredients for the Batter until well combined. Add the chicken into the batter.
  2. Heat up a skillet with about two inches of oil. As soon as the oil is fully heated, deep-fry the chicken until golden brown. Transfer the chicken out to a dish
  3. Heat the oil in a frying pan on medium heat. Add the chopped ginger and garlic and stir-fry. Add all the vegetables, follow by the sweet chili sauce, ketchup and chicken. Stir to coat the chicken well with the sweet chili sauce. Finish with spring onion
  4. Dish out, garnish with the white sesame seed
