Ingredients:
- Brown flour- 1 cup (or any flour you prefer)
- Raw sesame- ½ cup
- Carob or date molasses- 1/3 cup
- Extra virgin olive oil- 1/3 cup
- Toasted walnuts- ½ cup (optional)
- Ground anise- pinch (optional)
- Toasted sesame seed for garnish (optional)
- Pistachio for garnish (optional)
Method:
- Roast the flour until the color turns golden brown and keep it aside to cool completely
- Roast sesame until it turns golden color and keep it aside to cool completely
- Add the olive oil to the roasted flour, and mix it well
- Then add sesame seed, carob or date molasses and walnut and mix all together until it becomes a dough
- Prepare the small balls and coat with the sesame seed
- Add the anise powder as optional at any stage
